Firstly a Level 2 won't give you entry to University anyway as you need Level 3 qualifications. If you do have a Level 3 , which I think you have if it's an Extended diploma, and it is only maths stopping you, then I would suggest enrolling on an Adult evening course in maths at your local college

Hi there!

When you are applying to university, we often look for Level 3 qualifications - these are typically a level 3 BTEC, A-Levels or an Access Course!

There are both Level 2 and Level 3 extended diplomas so I would recommend having a look into which one is offered!

You can also find out more about an access course here .

When it comes to your maths (I'm assuming you're talking about Level 2 (GCSE) ) - I would recommend having a look as to whether your course would accept a Functional Skills instead. These are usually free and offered by local colleges.

I hope this helps!
