Uni leicester accom

Hi, I am yet to firm my course for Leciester I was wondering whether this would affect my chances of getting my chosen accommodation as I can only chose accommodation once I have firmed. Please could some-one answer whether my accommodation will be affected by a later firming. Thank you in advance!!

That would be a breach of UCAS Business Rules for providers.
If they incentivise firming offers earlier that the UCAS deadline then you can email [email protected] to report them.

Chances are they don’t incentivise it. They either hold back all room types until the summer or they only allocate rooms in August

Hello,

For individuals who do not have a firm place, you will need to wait until results day before any rooms are allocated. Those who are returning students or unconditional offer holders can already start applying for rooms and receive offers. If you apply before the 1st September you are guaranteed first year accommodation but if you wait for too long after results day, you may not be as lucky.
