Classics gcse

Please help i do gcse classics women in the andient world and homeric world but im not doing well im getting 5/15 on the 15 markers and like 4s… how can i get my grade up please

I suggest doing past papers, and then comparing your answers to the mark schemes to see where you're lacking, and to give you some sense of how to improve. You can find past papers and the mark schemes on Save My Exams, and also on the OCR website.

Bear in mind though that for Class Civ there aren't MANY past papers, so you'll have to try and spread them out over the time you have left before the exams.

The PEEL structure is what you want to follow:
POINT - Make and introduce the reader to your point.
EVIDENCE - Back it up, support the point you are making with examples or evidence. Typically with academic sources such as textbooks, journals or specialist products.
EXPLANATION - Explain how the evidence or examples support your point. Critically analyse what would happen if the theory was or was not applied. Explain: why? how? what is the impact? for each point.
LINK - Link this point to the next point that you will be making in the following paragraph, or link it back to the main point.
