NMT to MT form

Hi, I applied for student loan and its been processed but it only says im getting the minimum amount when I applied for the maximum. I have read online and just to confirm do I have to fill out the NMT to MT form and upload it as supporting evidence, and it will update? And are you suppose to save the PDF and then edit it digitally, then reupload it to the SFE page?

I’m not sure if they are the same but I’ve completed the PFF2 form and submitted it to my evidence, although it’s weird because I did originally apply for my maintenance to be based off of household income but got no follow up emails and I just got given the minimum amount. Also, I haven’t completed the NMT to MT as I can’t find it for year 25/26, but is this ok?

My parents completed the PFF2 form last night, but do I still need to complete the NMT to MT form? As I already applied for this originally I’m not sure and I also can’t find the form for 25/26.

Hi there,

When you applied, if you indicated that you wanted a Maintenance Loan based on the household income then you don't need to complete the NMT 2 MT form, that's okay.

The PFF2 form is enough. Just to let you know, we're currently processing these forms in 6 working days.

Thanks, Graeme

Still haven’t gotten an update, is this normal?

Hi there. Did you upload the PFF2 on your own account? Have you checked your emails (including spam/junk) and notifications on your account? Do you see any expected processing date on your online account? Thanks, Leah.

Uploaded on my own account, nothing on emails and no notifications. It just says “received” when I click on upload supporting evidence.

Hi there, we would have expected to have the that evidence reviewed by now. Their may be something holding up your application. If you are unable to see any outstanding actions in your online account, and your parents do not have any either, You can contact us over the phone (0300 100 0607) or via live chat. To access our live chat service from your online account, select 'undergraduate' and then ‘contact us’. From here you will be able to use our live chat service when it is available. Our opening hours are stated on our ‘contact us’ page. This will allow for us to check the application status and if any further actions are required. Thanks, Stephen.
