1 applied to the new optometry with independent prescribing which I unfortunately got rejected from.
The thing is that I have no clue what to do from this because it's what I wanted the most and now there's so many alternatives. I applied to law and also diagnostic imaging at Glasgow Caledonian and I've received offers from that but optometry was the only option in my head when picking courses. I don't know what to do from here do I do law or diagnostic imaging or do I take a gap year and reapply next year? If I consider a gap year what should I do in that time? I've also messaged gou and they've said I can do applied science HNC but I don't want to risk that. Im also thinking about clearing but honestly I don't know if that's very likely. If possible if anyone doing law or diagnostic imaging at gou can tell me what's it like please let me know.

I don’t do any of the other courses but in the same boat as you with just thinking optometry is the option but didn’t get in, i decided on a gap year then last week randomly i decided i was going to do the hnc just to give me a better chance of getting in next year, not sure if you have decided on what your doing yet but if not hope to see you in optometry next year

Sorry for the late reply haven’t been on here since offers came out earlier this year, i applied with 1A 3B and a C and was doing advanced maths, higher human and higher physics and didn’t get a conditional, and i decided on doing the hnc applied science, just waiting to hear back once again

did u have work experience for optom last year?
