Fostering income
My son is heading to uni in the autumn. My wife and I are foster carers. We don't exceed the amount allowable through qualifying care relief, so we have no taxable income. Does all our fostering income count as income when it comes to student finance, or do we have no income when it comes to student finance because we have no taxable income?

We only count taxable income, that's correct - so, you don't need to let us know about any non-taxable income that you have.
