Hi, in early December last year, I applied for the Fashion Design and Technology undergraduate course; however, my application was unfortunately unsuccessful. After receiving this decision, I was offered a place on the foundation course by the university via email.
Does this email constitute a formal offer for the foundation course, or is a separate application through their website required?

It may do.... I would email them and ask... ?
I applied direct through Loughborough Uni website - Google search the course and it will link you. You'll need to apply online, then they will get back with details of how to upload your portfolio, personal statement, etc.

It should have also updated on UCAS. Is that not the case? Generally, if they've offered you that, then no additional application is needed.

Art Foundation is done direct through L'boro Uni; it has no UCAS code/application process.

It's an amazing course btw... and worth it if you wish to continue at L'boro for your degree, as you are guaranteed a place (as long as you pass your foundation course).
