Hills Road admissions offer

Hi, I applied to Hills road to study further maths, maths, physics and philosophy A levels, but I have been offered maths, physics and philosophy - with no 4th subject

it says that this is because either the course is oversubscribed or I am unqualified, I am qualified to do the 4 'A' levels, so it must be that the course is oversubscribed

I am gutted as really want to go to Hills Road and I really want to do further maths

has this happened to anyone else? and what are the chances of a place on further maths becoming available in August

I feel it may be that priority has been given to students applying from Cambridge schools (I am in St Neots)

many thanks

The school’s admissions policy should outline which groups of students are given priority to. Not everyone who holds an offer will take the place in August so keep the offer and see what happens on results day 🙂

the admission score for 4 subjects is 78,check the website as well,we are facing the exact same situation,my score is 77 so im only offered 3 subjects,if your real exam score meets the requirements, the guidance meeting person said you can ask for a course swap and try to add further maths in and that's what am i going to do.also good luck for revision and your exams
