Need opinions for my research on biofabrication in healthcare?
Hi everyone,
I'm a Year 12 student working on my EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) about how socioeconomic and geographical factors affect the global adoption of biofabrication in healthcare.
I’m trying to gather insights from professionals, students, and anyone interested in biotechnology, medicine, or healthcare policy. If you have experience or knowledge in these areas, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Here are some key questions:
1️⃣ How aware are you of biofabrication (e.g., 3D bioprinting of tissues, organs, or medical implants)?
2️⃣ What do you think are the biggest barriers to its adoption in different countries (e.g., cost, regulations, technology availability)?
3️⃣ Do you think biofabrication will be widely accessible to low-income countries in the next 10–20 years? Why or why not?
4️⃣ If you work/study in a healthcare-related field, have you seen biofabrication technologies being discussed or used?
