Medicine choices

Hello, I’ve received offers from all of my medicine choices but am struggling on which to pick.
UEA, Keele and Liverpool
Keele is local to me and I do want to move away but it’s really good school. Liverpool doesn’t do dissection but great area, Uea is really far good but also a good course

Anyone got any recommendations ?

Choose Keele! Ik it's close to you but the fact you get to do dissections... that's really cool! Plus I suppose you can choose if you want to live at home or not. And if you get homesick at all might be good. Idk it's your choice but I've put keele as my firm and I am sooooo excited!!!! Hope I get the grades!

I agree! I think by the sounds of it, Keele would be great and would really suit what you want! and personally I would choose Liverpool as an insurance instead of UEA, but if you really like dissections then you can give it a think as well! Offer holder days and Open days are really useful to help make this decision! Good luck and I would also recommend selecting your choices soon to get better accommodation!

Hi! @GeorgeB103066 🙂
Firstly congratulations on all your offers, this must be an exciting time!!
Choosing the right university for you is a big decision so don't feel pressured to make a rushed choice, others will also be in the same position!

As you've mentioned, you will need to take into account many factors such as distance, the course, the city etc...
Have you been to these universities on open days? If not, I'd highly recommend you visit (even if it's not an open day, just to get a feel of the city and the university atmosphere).
You can also find lots of tours of the universities online on sites like YouTube.
As you've mentioned dissections, I'm assuming you prefer a more hands on style of learning. Have a look at each university's course profile closely as dissections aren't the only hands on activity in medicine. You might come across other styles of learning you may like.
Also have a think about if you'd rather live in a busy or quieter city. If you do end up visiting the universities, I'd recommend you also spend some time in the city centres too.

Ultimately, no one can decide for you, but I hope this helps you make a more informed decision.
