What should I pick?

I’m stuck between picking UCL Information Management for Business (IMB) or QMUL PwC flying start accounting.

UCL is a prestigious university which happens to be one of the best in the world and the UK. Whereas QMUL is no where near as good BUT, paid placement and an accounting qualification is very tempting. It’s a bit annoying that unlike most degree apprenticeships, this one is not funded for so either way I’ll be in debt. Can anyone give me some pros and cons for both so I can make a decision and firm one?

Thanks.

My friend does IMB at UCL and loves it, I am also a UCL student but on the Politics and IR course. From what I can say UCL is an amazing university and has a lot of opportunities that still garner you experience, most recently, my friend has participated in competitions in Canary Wharf and has been given a society position as president of that society. I believe that going to UCL is going to be way better in terms of building your own career path then being given it. Plus QMUL isn't even in the best part of London (I may be biased, but being able to just go to Leicester Square when you're free is kinda fun). Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Haven’t received the offer yet 😭home student btw, but I’m just thinking hypothetically if I do end up getting it, which one would I pick. My family are very much the type to prioritise Russell groups over degree apprenticeships and they don’t reallly like to claim QMUL as a Russell group so they’ve been pressuring me to defo pick UCL but I don’t know what would be better 😭

I attended UCL in September for another coursewhich I really didn’t like but I really did love theuniversity! I’m just worried I’m gonna make the samemistake again and end up dropping out AGAIN whichI really do not want. Would your friend say that thecourse is difficult?

My friend says the course is not too difficult, it's more applied than theory so practical application rather than just learning and testing theory

I received my offer the other day for UCL, going to a offer holder day for my PwC accounting degree apprenticeship next week so I might make my decision after that. Still very unsure what to pick but thankfully I have until June to make up my mind.

If you don't mind, could you please share your GCSE and predicted grades?
