Hey @cecigam 🙂 When you apply for accommodation you'll list your preference of room type, and there's room on the form for you to say that you're looking for a more lively flat which can be taken in to consideration when allocating you a room. Give the accommodation team as much info as you can about your preferences and they'll do their best to have you in a flat with like minded people!
To be honest - the liveliest halls can change year on year as it depends on the people living in them. When we ask our student ambassadors the answer to this they don't always say the same thing 🙂 I'd just make it clear what type of environment you're hoping to live in and we'll try to allocate you accordingly.

The team will consider all on time applications so just try to have your application for the halls in on time 🙂 Applications open today but the portal seemed to be down when I last checked - it might just be because lots of people are trying to get on. I'd recommend keeping a wee eye on the website for it refreshing, and follow the accommodation's social media pages (they're usually quite active on Instagram) for updates.
