Cambridge medicine

i am currently taking IB mathematics analysis and approaches at SL, but cambridge medicine requires Math at Higher Level. Has anyone tried applying to cambridge with SL math and got an offer? are there any advice on what to do? thanks!

If its stated as an entry requirement then there is no way around this. Its essential, not 'nice to have'
If you apply without it, you will get an immediate rejection.

There are plenty of other Med Schools - as an example, the entry requirements at Bristol are :
36 points overall with 18 at Higher Level, including 6, 6 at Higher Level in Chemistry and one of Biology, Physics or Mathematics (either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretations)

Btw, it doesnt matter where you train as a doctor, there is nothing magic about Cambridge, its exactly the same qualification as you get at every other Med School. No-one curtsies to you in the corridor because you went to Cambridge - you are just 'a doctor'. The NHS is not going to care where you trained, and neither will your future patients,

A requirement means that - you'll be rejected without it.

All medicine degrees are considered equal.
