Day-in-the-life of someone in the creative media industry

Hi! I was wondering for those who are studying anything related to the creative media industry in university or have a job in it if they could briefly state what a typical day for them is like, Im doing some research for my school project, thank you in advance!

Hi! I’m Nally and currently studying Media, Communications and Sociology at City St George’s, University of London.

A typical day can really vary depending on the course that you choose but here’s a rough idea!
My usual day starts with a lecture where we explore topics like Creative Labour in Media Industries, Channel Strategy and Media Planning. After a lecture, I usually have a seminar where we have discussions in small groups with the lecturers, which makes it really interactive and fun. After that, I grab a quick lunch and then have a group meeting with my teammates since we have a PR presentation due at the end of this term.
Outside of classes, there are some independent works like reading academic texts, reading screenplays and watching films to analyze different screenwriting styles.
In the evening, I usually spend time with my flat mates cooking dinner together. After that, I also spend time for myself and preparing for tomorrow’s classes.

Hope that helps and good luck with your project! 😊
