Help with uni of Liverpool accom!!!

Hello

I am going to do a foundation year at Liverpool in September, only just got around to booking accommodation but crown point is sold out, which is where I was going to book. As I'm doing a foundation year at Carmel college (in St Helens) I need to be able to get the bus there and back, but the remaining accommodation isn't really nearby any of the bus stops. Does anyone have any recommendations for where I should stay? I'm not against going private either, I just need somewhere easy (and not crazy expensive)

Hey I’d suggest maybe a property on London road. There is lots of student accom and it’s super close to uni and train stations and bus stops. Depending on budget I’d recommend x1 arndale house as it is cheap for the amount of space the rooms have and has a free washing machine.
There’s also IQ great newton house, innovo house, x1 the edge to name a few others.

Crown Place is heavily oversubscribed every year. There are lots of private halls that are in better locations and are often cheaper than UoL accomm. Try Student Roost's Capital Gate or Apollo Court, and IQ Student's Great Newton House.

Hey! I applied in September with a foundation year as well! I applied crown court, green bank, and vine court as I spoke to people and they said these are the best ones to apply!

Yeah they are okay if you don’t mind paying that much. But do still have a look at student accommodation in London road as you can find cheaper rent for better rooms !
X1 arndale house is good as you get free washing machine in kitchen and a tv in your room !
Innovo house is also a good shout as it was opened in 2022 so amenities are fairly new

i have a private accom in liverpool that is a 7 minute walk from a bus stop along the 10/10a bus route from liverpool to st helens. ive signed the tennancy agreement but im looking to not live there and will need to find a replacement tennant the tennancy starts in july and is £542 a month if this is of interest to you and i can give more details if so. the people are really nice and quiet apart from dnd and board games so they wont be disruptive to studies
