Getting severe comparison bias with my uni offers/rejections

Context, applied to Cambridge, LSE, UCL, KCL and Durham for Law. Thought I was a main character, up until I "fluked" my LNAT and got a 24, decent score but not competitive at all for my choices.

I got an offer from KCL, but rejected from Cambridge, Durham and UCL (my main choice), waiting on LSE but I'm doubtful of it based off how heavily they rate the MCQ. Based off looking online, KCL is literally top 5 for law, which makes it really good, but I can't help but compare it with where UCL stands, and how much better it is. Added with the fact that some of my peers are going Imperial, Cambridge, LSE, etc and I feel like the place I'm (touchwood) going to is "mid". I know I'm wrong for this, but I can't shake the feeling. Please be as brutal as you want about this, I just want to be able to talk/read about it a bit more and then get it off my system after a few days. Cheers

Sometimes in a world where everyone seems to be going to the tippy top level unis, I assure you, everyone is not! Even being able to put all your selected universities to apply to, already puts you at a high calibre, and not going to Cambridge or UCL isn't going to change that. KCL is still an amazing uni (and you can take my word for it, as a UCL student we are rivals), and going there still puts you at a university high above most others in the world. And remember, you shouldn't compare yourself to others and where they're going, just where you'll be going and how you will succeed and be better than your former self. I mean easier said than done, I had the same feeling being rejected from Cambridge, but once you go to uni, it all kinda fades away and you make your life at your uni. Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions feel free to pm
