I have received offers from both LSE and UCL for LLB and I’m not sure which to accept. Have started to weigh up both:
UCL: - Ranked higher globally - Ranked higher in UK rankings for law - Better student life/work-life balance according to conversations with students from both
LSE - Ranked higher in the UK - Known for employability - May have more competitive society positions
I teach part time at UCL. I have a friend who teaches part time at the LSE. We both recommend UCL over LSE, because of the student experience. In other respects they are pretty much equal. University rankings are of no relevance in the real world.
