Hi
@sheetallov24 ,
It's great to hear you have already received an offer!
Clearing begins on results day. During this process you will need to
share your grades with the university, most commonly on the phone, alongside some
additional information so they can decide if to send you an offer. Some courses may still require an
interview or for a
subject-specific member of staff to look at your credentials or experience.
I recommend you continue with your firm and insurance offer for now. When it comes to results day, if you have been officially given a place, this does not mean you have to attend that university. You can
try ringing various university clearing lines and see if you would be considered for a place on their course.
You do not need to decline your place at the firm/insurance university while you ask about an offer from through clearing. If you do receive an official offer through clearing, you must reject your original place before accepting you clearing offer. However please be aware, once you decline your place at your firm/insurance choice, this cannot be undone, so please be sure of your decision.
Before rejecting your original option, be absolutely certain you have an official verbal offer from this new university and there is not additional steps first like an interview.
I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
-Sophia (University of Central Lancashire)
