SLC Long Residency Eligibility
Student Finance England (SFE) has mishandled my application with negligence and discrimination. They failed to assess my evidence correctly, falsely claimed gaps in my records, and delayed my case by months. Despite agreeing to run a Home Office check, they ignored it for two months, only to process it later, adding further delays. When I respond back to appeals teams vague response “the evidence does not cover full period” and ask them which period is not covered or why is evidence not accepted when your acceptable evidence policy says otherwise the appeals team does not respond, and even my MP’s emails are ignored. My complaint remains unresolved, and I’ve been left in the dark with no accountability. It’s like they know they made a a lot of mistakes on my application and they’re adamant on being accountable and reassessing properly. This needs to change. Has anyone else faced similar issues?
