Do you study with your friends?

Hey everyone!

Hope revision is treating you all well :hugs:

I wanted to check in and see how you were doing - plus ask a very important question:

Do you study or revise with your friends?

If so, why do you think it helps? Is it the social camaraderie getting you through the hard evenings, or the accountability that keeps you meeting up?

What are the benefits?

Or do you prefer to study alone?

If you prefer to do this, why? Hate other people's noise or need quiet to concentrate?

I'm a bit of both - I love meeting up with friends studying the same subject but actually prefer to just sit with them silently and get on. I need the accountability of being with people but I can only do it with friends who also actually want to study, if anyone wants to chat I get too distracted

I study on my own or with the parent or with a mentor/tutor.

Hey there 😃

I’m almost done with my Psychology degree, and wow - what a mix of emotions! 😅 On one hand, I’m super stressed because I want to wrap everything up successfully. But on the other hand, looking back at this journey is making me so nostalgic. It’s been an incredible experience!

When it comes to studying, I’m definitely a loner. I need total silence to stay focused, so studying alone works best for me. But I totally see the benefits of group study! It can be great for people who feel more motivated around others, and methods like testing each other or explaining tricky concepts can be really effective.

At the end of the day, it’s all about finding what works for you - so it’s definitely worth trying both solo and group study to see what helps the most! 😊📚

I hope it will be helpful 💪

Take care,

Julia
