Reserve list for PhD
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any insight into PhD studentship reserve lists.
I interviewed for a studentship for the NWD programme last week and just received an email today saying that I have been placed on a reserve list since my interview performance was strong.
I feel a bit disheartened because I really want this project. I had so many calls with my potential supervisor and built up a great relationship with them. They really helped me with my interview and presentation so I felt like it was looking really good for me.
I’ve emailed to ask about the size of the reserve list but until then, I know it will differ depending on university, but does anyone know the likelihood that reserve candidates will receive an offer? Thanks
