For me i like to do past papers, as they do help you learn how the exam board lay out questions and it helps you not stress in exams, another thing you could do is write formulas which arent on the equation sheet and use that for active recall, also i would try learn the absolute basics of maths and i mean like adding and subtraction, fractions as that will give you a solid foundation and help you achieve the 4 and mabye even the 5, i can give you some websites if you want which can help with past papers and questions?

Yes then I would recommend Maths genie and 1st class maths. Also, if your school/college has mathwatch watch there videos it is truly helpful. When you are stuck ask your teaching to give you some extra time something like that to help you with that certain topic

Good Luck.

>past paper are one of the most effective study methods for maths.
>use active recall- Quizlet etc. -make your brain work- Don't use passive recall - ie. rereading/ highlighting notes as a main study method
>do practice questions from https://corbettmaths.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Ultimate-GCSE-Foundation-Question-Booklet-1.pdf (one which i just found online from a good website) or https://www.mathsgenie.co.uk/gcse.php
>revise what you do not know as well, not what you do know
>use classical / lofi beats to help focus (no lyrics as that will distract you)
>my maths teacher told the class this revision hack:
>set a 10 min timer
>make a mind map of what you know about a topic
> when the timer goes off stop
>use a textbook/information source to fill in the missing info in a different colour pen
>revise the things in another colour
>use the pomodorro technique to give yourself breaks while studing
>usually 25 min study/5 or 10 min break
>you can find many videos on yt with music that you like!
>Reward yourself- small progress is still progress
>if you want i could help you find something that works for you! =D
