Yeah it’s gotta be moments and materials, just as long as it’s not like the 2023 paper 🙏

Yep that question was horrible too😭

Im hearing that the old examiners for last year got fired, so we may have a nicer exam, potentially, but revise hard and expect the worst to come up.

apparently lots of colleges and sixth forms got mad and if they keep it up lots might go do different exam boards so hopefully they'll chill out this year. I hope 🙏

Can someone explain why the grade boundaries were normal last yr if the paper was so tough??? Surely ppl excepted it to be lower I don’t get it pls explain 😭

Also I’ve done up to 2021 paper going well but im too shook to do the rest how much harder does it get ???

2023 is the hardest year 100% 😭😭, and the grade boundaries defo reflect it lmao. I think 2019 and 2022 series are the most doable but 2019 grade boundaries r relatively high.

It must be something to do with the exam board not wanting it to low and too many ppl getting A’s/A*’s

what are some predictions guys ??😪

guys What are some predictions?

Reply 31

Do u guys think it’s good to make predictions/rely on them??? Obv provided u know the subject well enough

In my opinion all the paper 1s including 2024 were doable, but 2023 was actually horrible. That refraction question was crazy

Don’t rely solely on predictions, make sure you study and revise everything but if you really don’t have the time, then relying on predictions might be the way to go. My predictions are that there will be another difficult refraction question and maybe a chunky question based around superconductors especially since I’ve hardly seen them come up in the A Level papers.

Does anyone know where the thread is for AS AQA physics?? Thanks in advance

Those are good predictions tbf, there’s got to be a materials question right, cos there wasn’t one last year, and obviously a mechanics question, just hopefully not as bad as last years lmao. Potential dividers and/or Kirchoff’s law and circular motion aswell?

Maybe polarisation and/or optical fibres?
