Said i didn't have a valid passport when i do

Hi there,

When I was first filling out my SFE application I did not have a valid passport so I marked it as such, however I now do have a valid passport and believe that will be a much easier form of identity evidence than sending my birth certificate etc... is there any way for me to change this now? is it best to cancel my application then reapply? I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer

If you have submitted your application you can't change the application for the passport now. All you need to do is upload a copy of your valid UK passport online in your account, under the evidence upload option. This link shows you how here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_JvzAlga4s

Anything you send upload a cover letter with it with your name, crn and a short explanation why you're sending it. Once received, ID is currently taking 10 working days to process.

Thanks,
Claire
