funding for new course

I enrolled for a four-year course, but during my second year at a previous university, I withdrew before it started and so before attending any classes. However, I received part of the maintenance loan for that second year before withdrawing, which has caused confusion with my current funding. SFE deducted the leftover repayment from my previous maintenance loan from my current year’s maintenance loan, which might have led them to consider my second year as part of my study, even though i never actually attended and withdrew before it even began. As a result, SFE is only providing funding for three years, not four. i believe i should be entitled to four years of funding, as i only completed one year at your previous university and withdrew before attending the second year. im considering paying off the remaining debt from your previous maintenance loan to help clarify the situation and then asking SFE for a reassessment of my funding.
Do you think they will allow a reassessment of my funding

Hi there,

Do you know if the previous university sent a Change of Circumstances Withdrawal for non attendance to confirm you did not attend the course because if they just told us you withdrew we would class it as one year of funding.

Thanks, Drew
