I have no teacher for my business gcse help?

at the end of yr 10 all the business teachers left so when we started yr 11 they got us a new one. long story short they were all really bad at teaching and the students would missbeave we went through roughly 4-6 teachers non of them stuck. so basically for the whole of yr 11 we haven't learnt any business content due to lack of teachers and the school could find a replacement. I am really stressed out as there is lots of stuff I don't know how to do and I tried teaching myself but I don't understand what do I do?
also wondering if my school can make the grey boundaries lower for real gcse or if there is some kind of law that can help us cause I honestly think I could fail I used to be getting like 8 in end of yr 10 in January for a mock I got a 6 so my grade keeps significantly going down pls help?
also any revision tips for science cause I can't remember anything for the life of me and I don't know how u are meant keep up with active recall past papers don't help as I can't answer the questions cause I barely remember anything help?

I think you can apply for special consideration.

I highly recommend using bizconsesh for exam technique, and the textbook to make revision resources. If you search on youtube "bizconsesh" then the type of question (eg. 12 marker, 9 marker, 6 marker) then there will usually be a video of a guy with a whiteboard explaining a great structure to use which has been serving me quite well. It does depend on the exam board you do though. Good luck!

Science - I would make flascards - if you don't have time, then maybe use some pre-made ones from quizlet or anki?

I see you are in a difficult situation. I do Edexcel for Business and AQA Combined Science, but the points still apply.

For business and science, you will have to learn the content, otherwise, as you said, you can't answer past paper questions. Do you know if there is a certain way you learn best? Here are some ways you can learn the content:

Podcasts

YouTube videos, exam summaries

Mnemonics, (eg GeeK CEMENT, OIL RIG)

And memorise it after:

teach someone what you have learnt

stick post-it notes around your room or home if able

write how much you can remember in one colour, and add what you forgot in another colour.

A lot of business is kind of common sense if you understand the basics. You got an 8 in your first mock, for me I did a paper 1, so if your grade 6 was from paper 2, then hopefully you can lift your grade up with one of the papers (so it would be like a 7).

Which science is your weakest and what content have you missed in business? (what exam boards)

I think so, but it's a bit more complicated than just applying for it. It is basically a small adjustment (usually up to 5%) that is made to your exam mark if you've been disadvantaged in a way that’s outside your control.

The JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications), which handles the rules for all major UK exam boards, doesn't usually accept “lost teaching time” as a valid reason on its own. This is because:

It’s considered the responsibility of the school to ensure teaching happens.

They expect schools to make arrangements if a teacher is unavailable.

BUT:
If it clearly affects a large portion of the classes, the school could write to the exam board and make a case.

This means someone like a head of year or exams officer must bring this up in order to give special consideration. You should probably mention this to a teacher at your school, and if there is enough evidence (like dropping grades, or absence of a proper teacher) the school can request it.

thank you guys all very much I am now done with my business exams and I got through the content with Seneca. I asked a teacher if the exam boards would lower the grade boundary for us or something along the lines of that and they said no I also don't think the would ask the exam board for special consideration as my school isn't very good. if my grades turn out really bad in august could I still ask for the special consideration?
as I think it has been very obvious that peoples grades have dramatically dropped cause we basically had to fully teach ourselves the whole of paper 2 content and we never learnt how to answer exam questions

Well done on finishing Business!! You can't request special consideration after results, unfortunately. You will need to ask the exams officer/a teacher in regards to when the deadline is as I'm not sure, or maybe do some digging on the JCQ website x
