"Request for Guidance: University Pathway in the UK (Asylum Seeker, Iranian Diploma)"

Hello, I hope you're well.

I’m 21 years old and I moved to the UK about 8 months ago. My immigration status is as a seeker (asylum seeker). I want to continue my education and go to university to study Artificial Intelligence (AI).

I have a high school diploma from Iran in the field of Experimental Sciences, with a final grade of 19 out of 20. I would like to know what steps I need to take to be eligible to enter university in the UK.

Could you please advise me on:

What courses or qualifications I need to take before applying to university?

Which colleges in Brighton or London would be suitable for my situation?

What is the best and shortest pathway for someone in my situation to start university?

Thank you very much for your help

We would be happy to review your current academic and formal English language qualifications, if you would like to scan and email them to [email protected]. You mentioned that you want to gain further qualifications in AI, so our 2-year degree BSc (Hons) Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) (2-year degree) | University of Buckingham would be the quickest option, if your qualifications allow you to apply for this. Alternatively, the BSc (Hons) Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) (3-year degree) | University of Buckingham has an extra integrated Foundation year should this be a more suitable option.
Address your enquiry for Rosie and I will be happy to help.
