Med school hopeful!

Hi, I'm currently in S4 and really hoping to apply to med school when I'm in S6.

This year I'm taking Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, German, Economics, Physics and Latin.
I got 8 A's in my prelims.

Next year I'm taking Maths, English, Biology Chemistry and German.

As of now there are my extracurriculars:
Politics club
Science club (received bronze crest award last year)
MDVA club ( basically a club for aspring medics, vets, and dentists)
MDVA newsletter (writing articles about medical news)
Amnesty International (charity club)
malawi club (another charity club)
EYP (european youth parliment)
Debating club
Hockey club - both in and out of school
tennis club
St Andrews First Aid
CCF

Medical Experience:
Learning first aid at St Andrews, when I'm 16 I can volunteer at events as a first aider, but for now I learn and help younger members
I am currently completing the Brighton and Sussex medical school virtual work experience
Get Into Medicine Confrence
I have work experience lined up over the summer within the NHS
When I am 16, I will be able to volunteer as a ward helper at my local hospital

Reading:
I have read the following books to try and gain insight into the medical profession
'Complications' By Atul Gawande
'Mortal' by Atul Gawande
'The body' by Bill Bryson
'Admissions - a life in brain surgery' by Henry Marsh.

I was hoping to get some advice about what I can be doing to make my application the strongest it can be when I do apply. Any help would be so greatly appreciated as becoming a doctor is my dream.

Thanks!

no - at my school you can either do CCF or DofE. I decided to do CCF because of the first aid training, leadership opportunities and teaching qualifications you can get. I still plan on volunteering when i'm 16 and i already do regular activities that could count for DofE.
