How confident would you say you are with the content? I think doing a combination would be helpful so you can revise your weaker areas with flashcards (or whatever method you find best) and also practise your exam technique on both your stronger and weakers areas. Even if you know the content, the mark schemes are very specific so you will definitely need to practise that.

😬 biology is my weakest subject rn so that's why i thought memorising content before doing exam qs is better but i might just go straight into them idk though

Memorising content is not enough because of how specific mark schemes are - they want the answers worded in sometimes a very specific way.

I'm the same as you and i like to do flashcards to memorise the content, and then exam questions straight after to check my knowledge. this makes sure you understand the mark scheme as well as the content, cause if you get the Qs wrong, you can edit your flashcards immediately to match the mark scheme better etc

Do what works best for you imo, cause personally i need to relearn everything so love my flashcards

currently just going through the past papers, bit of flashcards and blurting asw. i think as someone else said, a combo of both is good. the mark schemes are the worst tho!

Hi, I’m currently doing papers and it’s not going very well, even if I get the content. I’m wondering if anyone has any advise on how to word my answers to mark schemes with limited time left and also trying to balance 2 other subjects?
