is it normal for ur friend to tell u to wear makeup ?even tho i was wearing it

we were eating lunch with my friend we can call her Z and other 2 girls . i told Z about how we need to prepare for our next presentation which is not even something big .she told me well forget about that we should look good . wear some good cloths and makeup .i told her what do u mean im already wearing it ? she told me well idk wear eyeliner,blush..)if just u wore make up u would look pretty .and then the other 2 girls told Z that ,even if she doesnt wear makeup everyday . when she does she looks really pretty . i felt really hurt .
