residency status proof

I'm applying for student finance, but I'm confused with how to prove my residency status. I'm a Filipino with a settled status, and I need my BRP to prove it. But BRPs are replaced with eVISAs, and I can't use that because SFE doesn't have that as an option. I'm scared that if I use my passport (I don't have a UK passport), they won't grant me the loans. What do I do?

Hi there,

We accept copies of ID to confirm status and ID. We'll then do a Home Office check on your behalf to confirm your status. Did you originally apply online? Thanks, Jason

I do plan on applying online, but I didn't complete it because that was my concern. Which IDs are you talking about? My BRP?

You need to make your application online for us to then send this for a Home Office check on your behalf. It's only if we are unable to confirm your status would we require evidence. Thanks, Jason
