pharmacy or course related to med

I wanted to apply for medicine for 2026 entry, however my school made me drop chemistry to retake over two years. so now i only have 4 highers - biology, maths, business, english. My current plan is to complete a HNC next year, which’ll help me to do pharmacy at RGU. Though, I still am very interested in medicine and could do graduate medicine? Is it recommended that I should do a course I could get a 2:1 in, as pharmacy isn’t a Bsc? I was thinking of pharmacy as it’s involved in healthcare, and an easier pathway, and there are stable jobs at the end of uni. Please someone let me know if it’s worth studying pharmacology, or biomedical sciences instead for grad entry medicine.

I wouldn’t recommend doing a postgrad medicine degree. It is more competitive and you’ll be in greater debt. Don’t put 3/4 years of work into something you don’t want to do.

Not all med schools require chemistry, have a look around and try to apply for undergraduate. Good luck
