what formulas on the formula book do we use for unit 1 maths ? the online booklet has all units an both years, do we get a smaller one for the exam ?

as far as im aware and what ive been using is the binomial theorem (not even that), however id check with your teacher just incase!!!!

Yeah you need it for that and ratio of distance between vectors

no you get the same one its the same across all maths and further maths exams in both years

What did you guys got for the gradient of the tangent to the circle? (P and Q i think)

Couldn't tell you but I know I did something to do with differentiating the original thing and making it equal the gradient to get the points then putting them into another equation

I think that was a different one. I did that as well and got 2 equations for tangents
