UCL

Haha well I posted another post with the same question but without the trinity/columbia offer and you answered the same there, since you seem to have a strong opinion would you mind explaining it to me at all? So that I can understand your point of view and incorporate it into my decision

But genuinely any advise would be so greatly appreciated because I know I'm really lucky to be in this position and I genuinely wasn't expecting it but I'm now just frozen between these offers and I feel even more overwhelmed than when I thought I was getting rejected from them all. I know I'll ultimately be happy wherever I go (or at least I hope so) but at the moment this decision is the only thing I can think about and I also have to choose soon so as to apply for accommodation (but yes I do know this is an incredibly privileged and lucky problem to have)

UCL has a better overall reputation and you will be in London.

I think that each option is great. If it were me, I would choose an option which gives me a year or more in an overseas city, so that would narrow the choice to UCL/Paris and TCD/Columbia. In ordinary times, I would choose TCD/Columbia, because I love Dublin and New York, but these are not ordinary times. Right now, I would choose UCL and Paris, because of the political instability of the USA. Columbia has just bent the knee to Trump, academic freedom is being limited, and students might face difficulties (including arrest and deportation) if they express political opinions. France is still a rule of law democracy. The US is on the brink of becoming an authoritarian failing State. So I would choose UCL/Paris.

There's a bit of variation in course there, and city experiences. How important is it to you to do undergrad law? And French law? How interested are you in politics? Maybe focussing on course content would be useful in reaching a decision.
Have you properly considered the financing?
If you meet the relevant conditions (EU/UK) then you can borrow in the UK for the London courses, but it's 10k pa tuition plus accom, whereas (again it depends) the state will pay Trinity tuition (part of the reason so many of Ireland’s most talented school leavers don't go elsewhere) but won't lend you funds. Columbia may or may not assist you with its substantial tuition. And Paris?
