Hi there,
A great place to start would be websites like grad cracker, indeed and LinkedIn where they often compile lots of different software engineering companies, placements and summer internships onto one page so you can look through them all and see whether any of them are the right length, in the right area, and might meet your needs and expectations for a placement.
A good website I found that had a lot of summer internship options for software engineering was indeed, they seem to have a lot of different options in different areas so I've dropped the link below.
