Best unis for adult nursing in scotland

Hello,Im thinking of applying for nursing and i would like to know which unis are better for it, between: GCU,Edinburgh napier,Stirling, edimburgh, or queen margaret
Queen margaret do masters so i guess that's the best one but edimburgh is a top uni so i guess they probably are in the same level but idk about gcu, napier or stirling.
Could someone rank this unis from best to worse.

It doesn't matter which uni you study at for nursing as all courses are held to the same standard by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the NHS won't care where you studied. Choose a uni where you will be happy to live for 3/4 years and where you like the facilities offered by the department and the uni in general. Consider placements locations and ease of travel, and accommodation costs and availability (for all years of the course). Start booking some open days.

Hi
Edinburgh Napier university has the best pass rates for there nursing degrees courses ( average of 95% ) best anywhere else in Scotland. It's a fantastic place to go and study at as all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They do the 3 years BSC Nursing degrees at undergraduate level and 2 years Master's degree.

Edinburgh Napier university uses Lothian health board hospitals and GP surgeries for placement, you might be at placement at Edinburgh royal infirmary, Edinburgh western general hospital, or At John's hospital in Livingston as these are the main hospitals, you have local community hospital in Leith, you could be placed at a placement outside of Lothian health board ( like borders general hospital in Melrose or east Lothian Haddington) same places for Edinburgh university and queens margaret university.

Glasgow Caledonian university will probably use all the available hospitals within greater Glasgow and Clyde health board areas.

Stirling uses forth valley and hospital in labert, Falkirk, Stirling

If I remember correctly Queen Margaret university does a 4 year Masters nursing degree only .

At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether you do a BSC OR MASTERS Degree in nursing because you'll still only be paid the same wages as a newly qualified band 5 nurse.
Your future employer doesn't care about what university you go to as long as you qualify from a accredited nursing course which NHS Scotland does.

Hey,

Picking the right university can be a difficult decision.

However, we would recommend booking onto some open days at a variety of universities to see which uni is for you. Everyone has different opinions when it comes to what is the best university and what is right for them. By attending open days you will be able to find out more about the course, chat to academics and student ambassadors, ask any questions and check out the facilities.

By attending the open days you can also check out the local area around the university.

You can find out when university open days are by checking out their websites.

I hope this helps.
