foundation year pharmacy

I'm currently doing my A-Levels and I'm really worried that I might not get the grades I need to get into pharmacy. I don’t want to take a gap year, and I’m feeling really stressed out about it.
Has anyone been through this and gone onto a foundation year? How was the experience, and what grades did you need to get accepted? Any advice or reassurance would really help right now!

Its totally normal to worry at this stage - so are thousands of other people.

Just get into the revision, work at it, and put in some real effort to get the best grades you can - and you will probably be pleasantly surprised on Results Day.

There are two answers to this :

1) Foundation years are rarely in Clearing. Unis will usually try to fill any spaces with near-miss applicants from their main MPharm degree - because they have already interviewed them, and its never a good look for any Uni to have courses in Clearing if they can avoid it.
2) Its a bit of a myth that all Unis immediately drop entry grades for Clearing. For a professional course like Pharmacy, they will still want the same level of skills/ability. And, as above, most Unis cannot be bothered re-interviewing amid the usual stress of Results Day and Clearing.
