psychology AQA 16 markers

My psychology teacher says that for 16 markers and above, I have to use an issues and debates evaluation point in all questions even if they are not an issues and debates question. She has marked me down on my 16 markers for not doing this in my mocks. Do I have to do this to get full marks or not because I don't see why I would have to if I have other points to make instead.

hey, i think the issues and debates eval. point is a criterium for top marks for 16 markers, as I believe you get capped at 9 (I think? do NOT quote me on that though) if you don't include one -- its just a weird quirk of the exam board

they are relatively easy to include though! figure out what is the easiest to remember and use those, and you can group if you want!! for example, for social influence, most of the research (asch, milgram, Stanford prison experiment, etc.) has exclusively male samples, so you can use gender bias as your i+d for pretty much all of it. you can even switch it around for moscovici, as that study has an all female sample.
i hope this helps 🫶

Hey I frequently am getting 15/16 out of 16 in my essays and tbh it is a really good thing to include! because it makes your answer more interesting to examiner as you're not simply just making the same points from the textbook. It shows more of a depth of knowledge and understanding which is what you want in order to get the top marks!
