York St John Accommodation
Is there any way I can meet the people online who will be in my flat before I go there? I would like to get to know some of the people I will be living with.

I met my flat-mates through Facebook before moving in. I'm not sure if they've changed how they offer accommodation this year, but when I was offered a room in St John Central, I was told through a document sent to me through my email what flat I would be in and which room in the flat I was in. This allowed Facebook group chats to be made so people could find their flat-mates before moving in. If this is the case, maybe have a look on Facebook? If not and you don't have your room allocations yet, I'd still have a look on Facebook on the fresher's groups (there is one made for each upcoming academic year) as it's a great way to meet people who are in your year/on the same course as you.

If you go on the University tab, under University Discussion and Uni Accommodation, there's a sub-forum called Find Your Flatmates! I can't many posts about finding YSJ flatmates but it might be worth making a post
