ECA Illustration

I got into Edinburgh college of art for the illustration course and was just wondering if anybody who is doing it or something similar would recommend it? I'm mostly wondering if the people/ staff are nice and also if the course is good for getting into concept art/ design as a career?

Sorry I am no help but I have an offer for Fine art and am going to the offer holder day on 23rd April as I am very undecided where to go 😫

hey i got into illustration too! i went to the open day last year and met one of the staff and she was super nice, also not totally sure about concept art but looking at the graduate show from 2024 both Eva Jeffery and Lucy Keegan seem to do concept art sort of stuff. are you thinking of accepting your place?

Yeah I think I'm going to go for it. It's between that and the foundation at DJCAD but I'm quite eager to just get into illustration. I'm going to the offer holders days so I'll make a final decision after that.

i’m literally in the same position as you bc my other option was DJCAD too. i think im going to go edinburgh as well but i can’t make the offers day so lmk if it sways you
