Edinburgh Law

Hi guys!
Edinburgh is my first choice and I have appleid for Scots Law there. I applied in October with AAAAA and predicted AB at AH and A at H. I go to private school and I'm not contextual.
Are others in the same position of radio silence? Am I likely to get in or should I prepare myself for rejection from my dream law school?

Edinburgh is known to be notoriously late with their applications.

I have heard d that a few pupils from a local private school have got into Edinburgh for Law. There’s still a chance.

I don't understand why it has all been so late. So frustrating!!! I do not want to revise for another set of exams :frown:

My friend applied for law at edin and got a response at the end of march. Not to scare you, but they did get a rejection - but their grades weren't quite as good as yours (got AAAA at H in s5, and predicted A at ADVH and AAC at H this year).

International student here, and I have heard nothing from Edinburgh thus far. Praying for the best!

I got rejected on Wednesday guys. I got AAAAA at higher with a 6th ungraded. Predicted AAB. Did a baccalaureate in Law and French law. Head girl, prefect, house captain, air cadets and student council for 6 years. Bronze Duke of Edinburgh, silver Duke of Edinburgh and gold Duke of Edinburgh. Put in an enquiry and they sent me a copy and pasted response - I can tell as they used the wrong pronoun. I am a girl and they said; "best of luck with his application." Good luck to all waiting I don't know if I am being egotistical but I think its down to private school prejudice...

i got an unconditional two weeks ago. i'm non contextual scottish private school. AAAAAAs at higher and predicted AAAA at AH plus work experience, voluntary work and all three dofes. i think they are really late to respond and i know a lot of people who are still waiting.

I got an unconditional at the end of March for Edinburgh law as a non-contextual home student, so don't lose hope!

Its all good I've got a glasgow offer but if you look like two posts up you'll see I got rejected but thank you xx
