Auditions at LIPA

I have an audition booked for LIPA and it says there are two stages. The morning and afternoon. If i don’t make it to the afternoon audition does that mean I won’t be offered a place? Or can they really like you in the morning and know they want you to attend so not call you back for the afternoon?

Also any tips?

All and every piece of guidance is useful!
Thank you

At our acting audition, they told us at lunch that if you didn't stay for the afternoon, it largely meant that they weren't thinking of considering you for the course, but I think there was maybe a chance you'd be offered a foundation year??

I don't know if you're there for an acting audition, but my tips would be a) finding a balance between showing them who you are and also acting in a professional way and b) know your stuff! Especially if you get through to the afternoon. In the duologue in the morning they seemed to appreciate it if you had taken time to search words you didn't understand or think about the context of the scene, and in the monologues I got asked about my character and why she was saying those specific lines, so they definitely want you to know what you're talking about

Let me know if you want any more information about the acting auditions specifically. Good luck!

This was very helpful. Thank you!
I think it went well, said it should be a few days before they get back to me.

Do you know how many people get accepted into a class? and how many people get put on the reserves list?
