Are the Cadets that don’t stay late? Or only operate during weekends?

I want to join cadets (air or army) but the timings are so inconvenient. 6:30-9 during school times…. Any during weekends at a better timing or during holidays? Can I ask my local one eg Willesden ATC if that’s possible or smth…

Hi, have you checked out this website about the Air cadets ? Lots of general information about them, but also the facility to contact your local Sqn and ask about details. I’ve checked all my local Sqns using the interactive map and all parade on Mondays and Thursdays between 1845-2130. That is pretty much similar to when I was in the cadets in 1971 (ATC) and CCF (1971-74) The cadets have been around for decades and are unlikely to change their parade dates and times to suit individual cases; however, if you have a specific reason why you can’t make your local Sqn’s full parade times, just speak to them, explain your problem and see if there’s any adjustments they can make for you.
