The Student Room Group

Fee situation

Hi, I’ve applied for KCL international foundation program as I’m doing my A levels from Pakistan but I was wondering if I had to pay the international student fee or home student. Thought I’d also mention that I received offers from Uni of Birmingham and a few others who classified me as an international student first, however after emailing them and providing them with evidence that I’m a British citizen and even though I haven’t been ordinarily living in the Uk for the last 3 years I have still been visiting frequently due to the fact that my dad and other close relatives live in the Uk. So the questions I have are: Is there a chance that I may only have to pay that standard home student fee? Is it possible that I pay the international fee for the foundation year and when I start my LLB I start paying the standard home student fee?

Hi Kashaan,

You'd need to check this directly with the university to confirm the fees they are requesting. Thanks, Jason
