Am I cooked?

Started revision for a level resits chemistry and biology a few days ago and I am basically learning from just the basics that I can remember from last year and have 60 days left till exams. Is it possible for me to get A A In both subjects within this time frame?

Hi there!

I did Biology and Chemistry at A-Level! Within this time frame, you essentially have 2 months. So yes, it is possible but you need to utilize every single day. Here is how I would structure my revision as I was in the same position.

identify topics from both A-Levels that you struggle with and use the specification points to identify this. Do you use your A-Level specification at school? Get a copy from your teacher ASAP.

60 days left, so divide up the number of topics you have identified by the number of days remaining. Do this for both A-levels so you have an idea regarding how many topics you need to do a day.

Practice practice practice!! now you start revising through flash cards, mindmaps, whatever works for you. Apply your knowledge to past paper and practice questions as well. Because the time frame is so tight, you must revise topics every day. Do not let work pile up or you will feel very overwhelmed.

I hope this helps - if you have any more questions then let me know and I will try to help. Good luck!

Kind regards, Jenifer (Kingston rep)
