Nottingham Uni accomm for nursing

Hey! I’m really hoping to start an Adult Nursing degree in September at UoN, I’m just really torn about what accommodation will be best for me. I dont want to spend a huge fortune however I’m hoping for an en-suite. I’ve heard St. Peters Court is good, does anyone current students have any opinions what might be best. Ideally I need a bus or something to the QMC if it’s quite a journey away. I’ve also heard a lot of student nurses go to Raleigh Park, is that right? Please help haha! Thankyou so much <3

Hello @Aiyanaj123,

St. Peter's Court is in the vicinity of Jubilee Campus, and that is about 1.5 miles away from the QMC (roughly a 30 to 40min. walk). Raleigh Park is slighly closer, so it is not a bad option in this case. To give you an example, it used to take me around 30min to get to George Green Library from Raleigh Park. The library is further to the west with respect to the QMC.

An alternative may involve walking up to Jubilee Campus, take the 903 bus there, stop at George Green Library (Stop UN31), and walk again towards the QMC. Truthfully, I think this may be rather cumbersome but it would take you more time to get to the QMC. Likewise, if you end up staying at University Park, you may also use the 903 bus and get off at Derby Road, which is the closest stop to the QMC.

I hope it helps,
Abian.
