Why did she tells me that?!
This morning my mom was making my breakfast and she told me this come pick up my plate since she was already late at work, why, it’s literally take 2secs to bring me the plate?!

When you're late for something you try and shave-off every second you can. She saved two seconds by not bringing you the plate, perhaps she saved 5 second on something else and 10 seconds on something else. Although these saving are small individually, they accumulate and could have saved her a minute of two by the time she reached work. That could have meant the difference between getting to work on time, and being a minute or two late.

She was already focussed on a higher priority task and didn't want additional petty ones, bare minimum you could do is get the plate yourself.

Thank heavens we got a sequel to the jam on toast thread from a few days ago, that's all I can say.
