Your teacher should give you some guidelines/examples of what topics could be appropriate for a ToK presentation (especially if you are lacking ideas yourself). The IBO have proposed some standard topics (some of which are guide broad and open for interpretation). Apart from that, you could (of course) come up with a topic entirely of your own, but it could be a little tricky to make it tokish enough (unless you have a tok-personality, that is... )

I did mine on whether misleading the public could ever be justified, about Fox News and their reports on the war in Iraq. (Didn't have too much to say, but I think my teacher liked it; unlike others in my class, I tried to make it a little provocative... )

I just finished my presentation last week and got 19 of 20 points. I did mine with another person on contrasting viewpoints of the death penalty. This was relatively easy to do because its easy to find topics relating to it, and very easy to incorporate parts of ToK in the presentation (esp. Ethics!). You would have to narrow the subject a bit more, but this was very easy to do and got me a good grade. I highly recommend using this as a topic for your oral presentation.

How does your presentation affect your Bonus points achieved from ToK/EE. My teacher hasnt told us much about it, but does anyone know what the general guidelines are for getting the full 3 points?

The presentation makes up 1/3 of your tok grade (A-F). Tok is weighted with EE (according to a "bonus point matrix").To get 3 points, you will need A for both or A for one and B for the other (AA/AB).
