Is oxbridge/london unis for medicine realistic based on my stats?
hi guys,
in year 12 currently i got x8 grade nines and x3 grade eights at gcse, would i be able to apply to oxford/cambridge and which one, because i want to apply to a uni even in london that would look at gcses, and also what to keep as backup (preferably near london) thx

your gcses are really good (and funnily enough the same as mine)
i'm pretty sure you max out the gcse scoring for oxford and cambridge would also look reallly favourably on them, although arguably for both your ucat score is equally as important if not more so in deciding whether they are realistic options or not.
kcl weights gcses so that's a good london uni to consider (again, assuming your ucat score is good enough). it's really hard to say what choices are realistic or not until you have your ucat score and predicted grades in hand. for now keep working hard and ask again when you're at that stage of the application process. good luck
