Hi,

You could try blurting and making mindmaps (you could even combine these two things).

You could make it fun and into a game by putting questions in a jar/hat or turning it into a board game (for example, once I made a geography case study into a Snakes and Ladders game, and it was great fun and allowed my friends to revise with me too).

I realise you said flashcards don't work for you, but how do you make your flashcards? Simply writing my notes and reading them off a flashcard has never been much help to me like it is for some people because it's passive revision. However, when I write my notes on one side of the card, leaving key words and information blank (with a hint of the first letter of the word) and then write the answers (the missing words) on the back of the card I find it helps me so much more. This is because in order to learn and recap the information you have to recall key information about it, meaning it sticks in your mind better. So if you haven't done flashcards in that way it might be worth a try.

I've also found some articles and videos that you might find useful to look at: How to study for A Level Geography and a YouTube video on how to study for A Level Geography . If you're interested in my Snakes and Ladders game, you could look up my old study tt account jass.eey_.studyys. I don't use it anymore as I got logged out, but if you scroll back you'll find a video where I explain how I made the game and used it to revise.

I think that doing topic specific past paper questions after you go over each topic will be really beneficial as you'll be applying the knowledge you've just learned, and then once you've gone over all of the content you can do past papers in full.

I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions feel free to ask me. 😊

I think creating a study plan so you know how often you're going to study geography.

You could write a list of all your topics/sub-topics and then figure out how many topics/sub-topics you'd have to study a day (whilst taking into account that you'll want to recap the things you've studied the days before).

I'm not sure how much time you should dedicate to geography or how often you should study it along with your other subjects, but I hope my above advice helps.
